Dad Doug,
You are missed already, it was a privilege to be your daughter in law. I will always treasure the moments and conversations we shared. Thank you for being an incredible father to my husband, thank you for your guidance and wisdom. Thank you for being a true gentleman and a loyal, devoted husband to our mom. Saying goodbye is never easy, but knowing you and mom are together certainly helps us to find peace. We have comfort in knowing we were all together and in knowing we can continue to care for Max. You'll always be remembered and loved.

Dad Doug,
You were a great father and a great mentor. I always looked up and learned from you, the way you treated my mother. You were her night in shining armor and I admired and appreciated that so much. You always did so much for me and my family. You were ALWAYS my go to when I had questions or needed advice. What will we do now? I'm so thankful for the time we spent together over the last few years, especially these last few weeks. It was a pleasure to care for you in those final moments. Thank you for calling me your son. I'll miss our daily talks very much. You'll always be missed and loved, most of all, remembered.
