Nancy Lynn Meredith, 64, of Lincoln, DE passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Dover. Nancy was born in Milford, the daughter of the late John Arthur and Katherine Emmaline (Wagner) Hayes. She was a graduate of Milford High School. Following high school, she began working at Milford Stitching. She continued with her career, working at L.D. Caulk in Milford as an Assistant Supervisor for over 20 years before retiring. Nancy loved working with children. Following her retirement, she worked as a substitute teacher for the Milford School District. She also was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Most important to Nancy was her family, for she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. 

She is survived by her husband of 30 years Jack Meredith; two sons John Meredith and his girlfriend Dee Carrillo and Matthew Meredith and his girlfriend Jessica Wittman; two grandchildren Emmaline Meredith and Payton Meredith; and two sisters Linda Hayes and Kathy McGee.

A viewing will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Lincoln United Methodist Church, 2nd and Butler Street, Lincoln where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in Nancy's memory be made to the Lincoln United Methodist Church, P.O.
