Shirley M. Shahan, 81, of Frederica, DE passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Shirley was born in Milford, DE the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Brown) Ingram. She was a homemaker. Shirley was a stay at home Mom, and enjoyed sewing, baking, painting, canning and doing the odd jobs around the house for her family while her husband Paul was at work. She loved geography, traveling and watching golf on television in her later years. Most important to her was her family for she loved to dote on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren every chance she could. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Shahan, Jr. in 1997; her daughter Deborah King and two brothers Charles and Bill Ingram.

She is survived by her son Clint Shahan and his wife Terry; and her daughter Joann Kielbasa and her husband Ed; a sister Alice Emory and a brother Donnie Ingram and his wife Judy; 7 grandchildren: Michael, Casey, Stephenie, Kimberly, Heather, Dina and David; and 7 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 12 - 1 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Burial will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica.
