Shirley S. Fuller, 92, of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at home. Mrs. Fuller was born in Easthampton, Mass, and was the daughter of the late Fred and Amy (Cooney) Scott. She worked most of her life in the culinary arts industry. She also worked as a housekeeper at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Georgetown before finishing her career at Happy Harry's, retiring at the age of 80. She was a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the Milford Senior Center. Shirley loved to bowl at the Milford Bowling Lanes. She was a very creative person and was quite proficient at  doing crafts such as making jewelry, wood burning, knitting and crocheting. Shirley had a wild sense of humor and loved a good pun. Most important to her was her family for she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Fuller in 2005, her son Laurence Joseph Fuller, and two daughters Sue Orzel and Patricia Worpek.

She is survived by her children Richard Fuller, of MA, Mary Fuller, of Lewes, Robert Fuller, of Lewes, Joseph Fuller, of Rehoboth and Chris Fuller, of Lewes as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family from 1 - 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, followed by entombment at 2:00 pm in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd, Milford, DE 19963.
