I met Nancy when she substituted at Ross Elementary. She truly loved teaching and was extremely kind and patient with each student. Each time she came to substitute she would bring a "Magical Mystery Bag" filled with prizes, books, treats, and even more books. When she came to school she would wear a camel colored knit hat and so if the students didn't remember her name they would say" Yeah the hat lady is here!" Nancy was always kind and generous to the staff members also. She always thought of us when she went to yard sales and she would bring us books for our classroom libraries and games for indoor recess. Her church and her family were both extremely important to her; and she loved showing off her grand children. the world has lost a remarkable "Role Model" with the passing of Nancy. I know that I will miss her. I will keep your family in my prayers, Carol Davis

We are so sad to hear of your loss. Nancy was a special lady. We will remember her as she looked with pride at her grand babies. She was so happy to show them to us. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
