My Grandfather, He will be missed. I pray for everyone in the family that new Jack ..i pray that the Lord are God heals and comforts my Dad, Rod fessler and my grandmother, Sue Fessler and also his sister Peggy. My Grandpa will forever be in are hearts.

Jack was one of my early mentors and I really liked him even when he was gruff with me. I knew he cared. I enjoyed talking to him at the IUSS reunion and listening to how he was enjoying life. He liked his work and you could tell. He looked a bit different than his posted picture (long hair) but he was still Jack and I liked him. He will be missed as he was a legend in IUSS. At least one of mine. Fair Winds and Following Seas my Friend until we meet again.

Jack was a great friend and shipmate. His passing is very sad and he will be missed. I pray that Sue and his family will find comfort in the fond memories. May you rest in peace Master Chief. Until we meet again.

Master Jack was a good friend, I served with at NavFac Argentia Newfoundland at 1971-27. We will be missed.
