To the Family of Donald.
It was with deep sadness I read my recent CHHA newsletter and learned of Donald's passing. Please know you have my deepest sympathy. I knew Donald through the " horse world.". His dad and my dad (Clifford Andrew) were great friends. And of course, we knew Paul too. Paul and Donald were really buddies.
I know how sad and lonely you all will be without him. May God give you strength and peace and comfort your heart.
With love and sympathy,

Joyce Andrew Hollingsworth

Dear Pat and family, Please know how very sad we are at hearing of Donald's passing. Had no idea he had been sick. We will miss seeing he him on occasions. He was always so much fun to be around. I know Marvin thought well of him.
I know you will get strength to carry on from your Saviour. God is so good.
May you and your family be blessed.

We were sorry to hear of your loss. We are still working, so we were unable to come and share in your grief. Praying for you and your family.

Though it has been some time since we have heard it, your laughter is what I will remember most. It was easily recognized above the noise in any crowd and always brought a smile to the faces of all those around you. It was as unique as you were. Rest easy in heaven, Uncle Donnie. And laugh on.

Donnie was a wonderful combination of a mischievous spirit, caring heart and humble leadership. I was blessed to become his friend years ago at Asbury; in the Builders Sunday School class. He was a great story teller - often sharing funny memories of adventures with his family and close friends, or the life lessons and values he learned growing up without a lot of the material things so many of us take for granted. His great personality, combined with that twinkle in his eye and willingness to serve, was a true inspiration.
One of the last times we spoke, he told me how much he loved Pat ("his good girl") and his family, and how grateful he was to have lived such a blessed life. I know we will all miss him terribly, but I am thankful he is at peace in his heavenly home now. "Pop Pop", you made the world a better place.
With deepest heartfelt sympathy and Christian love,
Vicki Schultes
