Rhoda D. Wright, 100, formerly of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Milford Center, Genesis Eldercare. Rhoda was born in Harrington, the daughter of the late Leon and Mary Jane (Morgan) Donovan. She began working at the family owned Vernon Country Store until it closed in 1961. She then went to work at Ace Manufacturing in Harrington as a seamstress for many years before they closed their doors. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, Harrington. She loved to sew and cook in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elwood R. Wright in 1991 and her 7 brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her children James Wright and his wife Belinda, of Georgetown, Nancy Carroll of Jacksonville, FL, Alice Downes, of Wilmington, and Marshall Wright of Felton; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE  19720.
