Catherine Williams Love, 90, of Milford, DE died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Milford Center. Catherine was born March 2, 1927 in Delmar, MD the daughter of the late Marvil W. and Catherine (Byer) Williams. She was a homemaker. Catherine was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford. As a member of the church, Catherine worked in the office as well as being a very active volunteer. She enjoyed sharing the love of her church with her family as well as her extended family and friends. Catherine was a mild mannered woman. Her love for her family was very evident, showing in her involvement with and care given to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also committed to social justice. In her later years, she became very interested in baseball and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Alfred L. Love, a daughter, Phyllis Love, a grandson, Phillip Love, and her brothers Thomas, Raymond, Francis and Charlie.

She is survived by 7 sons, A. Thomas Love, William E. Love, Donald W. Love, David F. Love, Gregory L. Love, John S. Love and Michael J. Love; 3 daughters, Marguerite L. Jacob, Patricia L. Ondic and Cathy J .L. Webb; 21 Grandchildren; and several Great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Burial will follow in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford, DE  19963. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
