Carol A. Lallier, 58, of Ellendale, DE passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Carol was born in Reading, PA the daughter of Geraldine (Kruszewski) Mentzer and the late Arthur Mentzer. She graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College, Georgetown, with a Degree in Nursing. She worked as a visiting nurse, then continued working at Milford Center, Genesis Healthcare for 7 years, then went to work at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford where she was currently working when she became ill. Carol was a loving caregiver to many people in the community. She loved gardening and sewing and when she was growing up, Carol loved going fishing with her father. Most important to her was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, and would call her daughter, mother and sister everyday just to keep in touch with them.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years Paul Evan Lallier; two daughters Tara Grace Pusczykowski and Catherine Marie Lallier, her mother Geraldine Mentzer; and her sister Lynda Mikos.

A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may visit with Carol's family from 12 - 1 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
