William Scott Doneker

William Scott Doneker Sr, 62, of Milford, DE passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 in Bayhealth Sussex, Milford Hospital. Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Charles and Jean Doneker. He worked as a truck driver for Fizzano Brothers Concrete for 20 plus years before having to retire on disability in 1991. He was a member of the Teamsters Union  Local #312. He loved hunting, fishing, horseback riding and watching his  favorite team the Philadelphia Eagles,. Bill was an avid lover of all types of animals.,He had the biggest heart and was a loving  and  dedicated  father / grandfather and loyal friend. He would help anyone he could and put everyone before himself. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Doneker.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Dorothy "Dot" Doneker; 3 sons William Scott Doneker, Jr., Charles F. Doneker and his wife Alexis, and Ryan A. Doneker; one daughter Aimy Bogan; one brother Guy Doneker; two brother in laws John C. Vasquez and David C. Vasquez; and 11 grandchildren.

A Celebration of LIfe for Bill will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Brandywine Valley S.P.C.A., Georgetown Campus, 22918 Dupont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
