Robert "Bob" Hludzinski, 77, of Milford, DE passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 in Milford, DE. Bob was born in Jamaica, NY, the son of the late Charles Hludzinski and the late Adele Cieslewicz. He served in the Army and was stationed in Alaska for 18 months. Once he returned he worked as the lead mechanical engineer at LaGuardia Airport in Jamaica NY for 13 years. Upon moving to Delaware with his family he was employed at Tanger Outlets for many years and then moved on to work for Sposato Landscaping until his retirement.
Bob enjoyed stock car racing and owned his own race car and was an avid fisherman. Bob enjoyed sitting on his front porch watching his hummingbirds He also took great pride in his home and its landscaping. He attended St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Dorothy (Leidner) Hludzinski; a daughter Denise Ali; a son Thomas Hludzinski; grandchildren Ryan Ali, Brandon Ali (wife Angela), Shawn Ali, Isabella Hludzinski and Alisha Ali; 2 great grandchildren Aleena Ali and Amelia Ali; a sister Joan Botkin and brother in law John Leidner (wife Barbara).
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
