A Decorated Vietnam War Veteran, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Silver Star has passed on to Heaven 24July2025

Preceded in death by Grandson Cade McGowan. Charles and Martha McGowan, French and Camille Richendollar. Brothers Joseph Richendollar and Jimmy Richendollar. Survived by wife Patricia McGowan, Daughter Patricia Ann (Kevin) Owen, Son Patrick Michael (Melissa) McGowan II, Son Patrick Daniel (Jennifer) McGowan. Grandchildren: Sabrena Ballinger, Melissa McGowan, Keri Owen, Kori Owen, Katherine McGowan, Mason McGowan, Klayton Owen, Emma McGowan. Brother French Richendollar II, Paul LaPierre, Sisters Jannie (Scott) Paine, Julie (John) Trovato, Caroline (Barry) Champy.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patrick was a Member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary for 10 years. Lifetime Member with Disabled American Veterans, Member of American Legion. Past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Member of Southern Baptist Disaster Organization for 7 years. Did clean up and recovery in Chicago Illinois, Savannah, Georgia, Manahawkin, New Jersey, South Carolina, Louisiana. Was a lead singer for a Southern Gospel Quartet.

A viewing will be held from 3 - 5 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, Delaware. 

Burial with Military Honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 3 PM    See information below for important time of arrival and entrance information
