Norman L. Wilkins

Norman L. Wilkins, 90, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at home. Norman was born in Milford, DE the son of the late Elmer and Alice Wilkins. In 1954, Norman started his trash collection business, known as Wilkins and Sons, with just a pick-up truck. At one point during his career, he had 18 trucks on the road at one time. In 1967, he established a custom home building business, known as N.L. Wilkins Builder. Norman retired from the trash collecting business in 1985 but continued building custom homes until retiring in 2008. In his spare time, Norman enjoyed gardening, and took pride in the beautiful flowers throughout his yard. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Darling Wilkins; his daughter Rachel Louise Zulauf; as well as 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

He is survived by his two sons Mark Wilkins and his wife Sherry and Jonathan Wilkins. A Celebration of Norman's Life will be announced at a later date.
