Nelson Allen Jerread

Nelson Allen Jerread, 77, of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Lewes, DE. Nelson was born in Milford, DE the son of Arleen (Taylor) Jerread and the late William Jerread. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Nelson enjoyed watching TV, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved tending to his chickens. In addition to his father, Nelson was preceded in death by his brother William Jerread, Jr.

He is survived by his mother Arleen (Taylor) Jerread; two sisters Karen Jerread and Junanne Meyer; as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
