Michael Nicholas Mason

Michael Nicholas Mason, 72, of Milford, DE passed away suddenly on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, Milford. Mike was born in Philadelphia, Pa the son of the late Harry and Lucy (Vittese) Mason. He proudly served in the U. S. Army Reserves. He worked for many years as a foreman for PENDOT before retiring. He loved to cook and enjoyed gardening. He was a fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Maryann (John) Pargola and brother Harry (Carole) Mason Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia (Renzi) Mason; daughter Jacqueline Mason and son Michael J. Mason, ; a sister Kathleen (William) Martino and two brothers William (Mary) Mason and Robert (Catherine) Mason . Also, many nieces and nephews. He will be greeted by his "Little Hombre" Nikko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Michael at 12 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Burial will follow in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. The family has requested that masks be worn during mass. The family requests no flowers be sent and that instead donations be made in memory of Michael N Mason to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
