Michael S. Blackwell, 68, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Michael was born in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late Clarence and Connie Blackwell.

Michael was a man of God and would tell you to love, forgive, and to not judge people for their past. He loved music, especially jazz and in his younger days, was a member and singer in a local band. He was passionate about cooking and loved to prepare meals from scratch and farm to table for his family and friends. Michael loved his family and valued the importance of making memories through the years. Especially with his children and grandchildren, which he believed would be his true legacy in life. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Bryson and son-in-law Jay Viglione.

He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years Cheryl; his children Tiana Viglione, Daniel Gonzalez (Marilyn) and Chelsea Johnson (Omar); 6 grandchildren Calito, Harlem, Alaynna, Alyla, Isabella, and Romeo; his brothers and sisters Paula Wilson, David Blackwell, Camellia Taffel, Debbie Whittleton, Claire Cordeiro and Carol Ajirogi, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
