Mary Ann Metzner

Mary Ann Metzner, 93, of Milford, went home to be with the "LORD" on December 5, 2022, at home. Ms. Metzner was born in Felton, DE to Charles and Mary Elizabeth Hurd. She began her homemaking career September 1946 with her husband Roland in Rehoboth, DE. Ms. Metzner was a collector of dolls, coins and ceramic dogs. Mary Ann's hobby was picture painting. Mary Ann was a member of the Greenwood VFW, the Back Bay Strummers Band, and Last Call Worship Center, Milford, DE. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Gary in 1985, husband Roland in 2010, grandson Michael 2021 and all of her brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by three sons Roland Metzner II (Sallie), Philip Metzner (Jean), and Robert Metzner (Alice); nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 11 am to 12 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where services will be held at 12 noon. Burial will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Last Call Worship Center, 723 S. Washington Street, Milford, DE  19963.
