Marina Hill Obituary

Marina F. Hill, 85, of Broadkill Beach, DE passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Marina was born in Johnson City, TN, the daughter of the late Roma and Jeannette (Hallet) Jackson. She was a homemaker. Marina also worked as a bookkeeper for Hubers Sporting Goods in Wilmington until 1983, then she moved to Milford where she owned and operated Liberty Sports and Monogram until she retired. Marina enjoyed bowling in the bowling leagues in Milford, loved spending time on the beach, and also enjoyed fishing and playing golf with her son. Marina enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. She was a very active Mom in her children's life, supporting her children and grandchildren with their sports and activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Rich" Hill; her three sons Joseph M. Taggart, William M. Taggart and John R. Taggart; two grandsons Glenn and Kyle Cash; and a brother Randy Jackson.

She is survived by her two daughters Sharon Cash and Patricia King; a son Paul Taggart; two sisters Peggy Ellis and Grace Brent; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford. Letters of condolence may be shared with the family at www.loflandandmcknatt.com.
