Obituary
Marilyn Jean Ricker, 84, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at home. Marilyn was born in Bloomfield, NJ the daughter of the late Bert and Margaret (McGlynn) Brown. She worked for the Ringwood Police Department for 20 years as a dispatcher. She also served as a volunteer with the Ringwood Ambulance Corp. for 25 years. Most important to Marilyn was her family, which she enjoyed spending time as well as planning family picnics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John W. Ricker, Jr., and a brother Robert F. Brown.
She is survived by 5 children John J. Ricker, Sr. (Joanna), Deborah Fenning, Donna Reitz (Gordon), Donald Ricker and Tyler Ricker; one brother Donald Brown; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
