Louise M. Rains

Louise M. Rains, 87, of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Lebanon, PA the daughter of the late Luigi and Sadie (Brewer) DeAngelo. She was a homemaker. Most important to Louise was caring for her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She also enjoyed collecting jewelry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Lee Rains; a son and daughter in law Gregory "Bucky" and Cindy Rains; a daughter and son in law Christina "GG" and Billy Joe Smith; a grandson Adam Greenly and great granddaughter Adeline Rains.

She is survived by her children Mike Rains and his wife Ruth, Dale Rains and his wife Tangey, Brian Rains and his wife Carol, Timmy Rains, Tammy Greenly and her husband Dale, Jackie Sluter and her husband Jim, Keven Rains and his  wife Delores; and Penny Erli and her husband David; 2 sisters Betty Wible and Mafalda Farmer; 24 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and her very close friends Dottie Reed and Donna Lungr.

A viewing will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Felton Community Fire Company, P.O. Box F, Felton, DE  19943.
