Kelli Ann Jackson

Kelli Ann Jackson, a mother, and daughter passed away at the age of 54 on September 29, 2021 in her home in Milford, DE, after a long battle with chronic health conditions. 

Kelli was born in Oakland, CA, and raised in Rockville, MD. She attended Thomas S. Wootton High School. Kelli enjoyed the beach, and was very fond of animals, having cared for pets throughout most of her life. Above all, Kelli’s most cherished times were those spent with her son. Kelli spent most of her life in the Maryland-Delaware area, while also relocating for a period of time to Revere, MA, serving as a caretaker for her aunt, the late Estelle Barnes.

Kelli experienced multiple chronic health conditions, of which she always retained an optimistic outlook on. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers from Griswold Home Care of Lewes, DE, and to all of the family and friends that have been supportive during this time. 

Surviving her includes her loving mother, Carol Ann Jackson of Milford DE, her son Tyler Scott Puryear and fiancé Omar Najjar, of Providence, RI, and her biggest companion, her cat, Ridgeway. She is also survived by multiple cousins and extended family members, of whom she shared wonderful and loving memories with. Preceding her in death include her father, the late John Lincoln Jackson, of Milford, DE, and her aunt, the late Estelle H. Barnes, of Revere, MA. 

The family is not holding a funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 4301 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 300, Arlington, VA, 2203, in Kelli’s memory.
