Kathryn E. Haigh

Kathryn E. Haigh, 81, of Lincoln, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Health Center, Millsboro. Mrs. Haigh was born in Wilmington, DE the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Sparks) Dawson, Jr. She was a graduate of John Dickinson High School and attended Goldey Beacom College. Kathryn worked as office manager at Happy Harry's at the main office in New Castle for several years before leaving to work for her husband Harold F. Haigh, Jr. at Breaktime Vending. She was a member of the Last Call Worship Center, Milford. Kathryn loved to collect dolls and antiques, enjoyed antique shopping as well as spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold F. Haigh, Jr.; a great grandson Bentley Tulenko, and 3 brothers Walter Dawson III, James "Jimmy" Dawson and Harry Dawson.

She is survived by two daughters Kimberly Solomon (James) and Kristine Wallace (Merritt); and one son Harold F. Haigh, III; her grandchildren Kelsee Tulenko (Nicholas), Landon Carroll (Casey), Brittni Mast (Cam), Bradley Wallace, Christopher Wallace (Becky), Mariah Beckers, Austin Haigh, and Hannah Haigh; Great Grandchildren Aiden, Scarlette, Calie, Jackson, Elliott, Noah, Connor, Brysen, Myles, Layla, Rayah and Maverick; and one sister Mildred "Millie" Testoni.

A Celebration of Life for Kathryn will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may visit with the family from 11 am to 12 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
