June Conchita Allen Christy

June Conchita Allen Christy passed away in her sleep on January 18th, 2024, in Milford, DE, at age 83. Wife of John R Christy (deceased), mother of John Robert Christy Jr, Kimberly Ann Albanese, Michelle Denise Christy, and Phyllis Christy Sica, also leaving behind 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Besides raising a large family, June engaged in many charitable activities, including quilting and sewing, which she did for organizations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Texas. She was involved with the Catholic church, working in the rectory and being part of the group that created the church choir. 

Family, friends, and pets were at the top of her list, followed by Mexican food. The family will hold a private ceremony in the next few weeks. In lieu of flowers, take a loved one for some enchiladas and tell them how much you care.
