Janette Louise Carlson

Janette Louise Carlson, 84, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at home. Janette was born in Brockton, MA, the daughter of the late Michael Joseph and Emma Mary (White) Sliney. She was a homemaker, caring for her family while they traveled throughout the world with her husband LeRoy N. Carlson, Jr., who was career Air Force. After her husband's retirement, Janette went to work for DEMCO in Milford for several years before retiring. In her spare time, she volunteered at God's Way Thrift Store in Milford. She also enjoyed shopping, gardening, sewing and traveling, especially in Massachusetts. She was an avid Boston sports fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and several sisters.

She is survived by her loving family, her daughters Kim Bennett (Steve), Mercy Kramer (Bob),  Katrina Taylor (Earl) and stepson Roy Carlson (Evelyn); 3 sisters Pat Uburtis, Joette Luiz and Toni Gauthier; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services are going to be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either the Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O.
