James Edward "Jimmy" Fister

James Edward "Jimmy" Fister, 68, of Lincoln, DE passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. Jimmy was born in Milford, DE the son of the late John Joseph Fister, Jr. and Lydia Pearl (Peterson) Fister. He worked as a door maker for the Mil-Del Company in Milford. He enjoyed riding his bicycle as well as gardening and loved his cat Smokey. 

He is survived by his longtime companion Suzanne Warren; a sister Rita Kirk; a brother John Fister (Judy); a step daughter Rachel Bradley; as well as his nieces and nephews Jana, John, Justin and Ashley.

A viewing will be held from 10 - 11 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where services will be held at 11 am. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Brandywine Valley S.P.C.A., Georgetown Campus, 22918 Dupont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
