Howard Wesley Cox

Howard Wesley Cox, 51, of Hartly, DE passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, MD surrounded by his family. Howard was born in Wilmington, DE the son of the late George Lonnie and Linda Carroll (Stanley) Cox. He worked as an HVAC technician for Chesapeake Testing & Balancing Engineering Inc until he became ill. Howard enjoyed spending time with his family, playing board games, going fishing and crabbing and going on vacations. Howard would often spend weekends taking day trips with his family finding new parks or hiking trails.  He also loved looking at cars and watching auto auctions on television. 

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 33 years Laura (Turner) Cox; his daughter Cameron Cox; a sister Glenna Cox; a brother Lonnie Cox as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, Shands House 1600 Rockland Rd Wilmington, DE  19803. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
