Henry "Hank" Grabowski

Henry "Hank" Grabowski, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Milford Center, Genesis Healthcare, Milford. Hank was born in Cambridge, NJ, the son of the late Henry and Sophia (Solkowski) Grabowski. After graduating from Drexel, Hank began his career at U.S. Steel, then worked at Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ. In 1969 he moved to Delaware, and worked at I.L.C. in Frederica, then transferred to Playtex in Dover, working for over 25 years before retiring as a manager in 1998. After his retirement, Hank worked part time at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford for many years, where he was a member of the church. He enjoyed collecting everything Christmas, as well as Coca Cola collectables and Life magazines. He also enjoyed attending local auctions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jon Grabowski, who died in the first tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11, and a brother Bernie Grabowski.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Linda (Tingle) Grabowski; two sons Mark Grabowski and Eric Grabowski; one daughter Jill Grabowski; one stepson Matt Bailey; a niece Lizzy Howell; 5 grandchildren Owen, Alex, Eli, Logan and Sophia Grabowski and two step grandchildren Kaylee Newnam and Wyatt Perchik.
