Helen Lindale Brown

Helen Lindale Brown, 75, of Milford, DE passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Helen was born in Milford, DE the daughter of the late Augustus and Anna Marie (Adam) Lindale. She was a graduate of the class of 1967 from Milford High School. Helen worked at L.D. Caulk for 23 years before retiring in 1993. She was a life member of the Carlisle Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Milford Senior Center and the Milford Boys and Girls Club. Helen enjoyed baking, and decorating amazing cakes for many weddings and birthdays, sewing, crocheting, painting and transporting those seniors in need of a ride along with runs for many family and friends to the airport. What she loved most was being around people and spending time with her different dogs through the years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Eugene Brown; her dog Toby Rowe Brown; a dear friend Mike; brothers,  sisters, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held at 7 pm on Friday, August  30, 2024 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where a visitation with the family will be held from 6 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Brandywine Valley S.P.C.A., 22918 Dupont Boulevard, Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
