Grace Ellen Hurd

Grace Hurd passed away at home in Camden-Wyoming DE, at the age of 62. She worked for Edgewell Personal Care for many years.  She served with Marydel Volunteer Fire Department.  She is survived by her husband, Gary Hurd; her nephew Ryan Hurd & Brittany Mast; her niece Ada Todd & Rick Todd; a son Gary Hurd Jr. and family; a sister Patricia Collins; numerous friends, and numerous family.  She is preceded in death and joining her mother, Ethel Boone; her father Benjamin O. Bowden; her brother William Bowden; and her sister Carol Lynn.  

She was a kind and caring person who loved to travel and spend time with family.  She had a big heart and made friends everywhere she went.  She was strong and would be sure to do anything and everything that anyone said she could not do. She was hardworking, determined, loving, and kind.  She will be greatly missed. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Marydel Fire Company, 110 Firehouse Lane, Marydel, DE  19964.
