Geneva Williams Smith Melodia

Geneva Williams Smith Melodia, 92 1/2, of Milford, DE formerly of Bartow, FL passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at home with her daughter Sally Haines. Geneva was born in Gallipolis, OH to the late Oliver James Williams and Flossie Ward Williams.

Geneva was a housewife until moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL in the mid 1970's where she trained & worked in the medical field until retirement in the mid 1990's & moving to Bartow, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Bartow Church for many years, a part of the elder ladies bible group, of whom kept in contact with their sister Geneva throughout the year, following her move to her daughter's in DE with song, cards, calls & letters.   

Geneva is preceded in death by her eldest daughter Deborah Susan in 2008. Geneva is survived by her devoted sister Delores Rempe (Michael) Ohio, brother Kenneth Williams, Apple Valley, CA, her six children Sally Haines, Frank Smith, Joseph (Brenda) Smith/all of DE, Stephen (Gwen) Smith/AL, Donna Smith/FL, Laura Smith/OH and many great-great, great & grandchildren, nieces, nephews & extended family members. 

Geneva loved the Lord, her church & Israel. If you'd like to donate to any of these in lieu of flowers in her honor please feel free to do so.
