Delores "Dee" Stockman

Delores Stockman, 64, of Lincoln, DE passed away suddenly on Monday, March 14, 2022. Dee was born in Milton, DE the daughter of the late John Spencer, Jr. and Ruth Ann Spencer. She worked as a custodian and began her career in 1991 at Lulu Ross Elementary School in the Milford School District. After her 2nd year at Lulu Ross, Dee transferred to Sussex Tech High School in 1993, working there until the time of her passing. She was very proud of the fact that she was the only female custodian at Sussex Tech. While at Sussex Tech, Dee loved the students and always cheered them on at Ravens' events. In addition to working for the school district, Dee also owned and operated her own cleaning service for 30 years, known as ED's Cleaning service. Dee loved animals, cared for as many as she could, and she called them all Baby. She enjoyed going to the Harrington Slots (where she enjoyed their seafood buffet), loved going to Wilson's Auction and enjoyed dancing. She loved singing and you could frequently hear her singing at the top of her lungs. She was proud to be an avid blood donor. Dee made the ultimate donation to the Gift of Life.

Delores is survived by the loves of her lives, her two daughters Angela Louise Jones and Melissa Lynn Warch (David); and three grandchildren Tyler Smith, Paxton Smith and Nyko Smith; and dear friend Donald Mitchell.  She was a proud Mom and Mom-Mom and is dearly missed by her beloved fur babies and grand-pups. 

A viewing will be held from 12 to 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm. Burial will be in Milton Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Brandywine Valley S.P.C.A.
