David Donald Deason

David Donald Deason, 69, of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. David was born in Nassawaddox, VA the son of the late Coy and Laura (Walker) Deason. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He owned and operated Deason Design Services LLC, working as an HVAC designer up until his death. He was a member of Last Call Church in Milford. He enjoyed both fishing and hunting in his spare time. Most important to David was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Carla; 2 daughters, Shane Assalone (husband Michael) and Sara Deason;  1 son Coy Deason (wife Sara); 2 grandchildren Beau and Vivian Deason; 3 nephews Allen Cress, Daniel Hudson, and Dawson Hudson and niece Samantha Spady; as well as his extended family Gregg Gordy, Teresa Gray, Gary Gordy and Buddy Gordy.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in David's name be made to either the Salvation Army, 407 Oak St., Salisbury, MD  21804 or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Inc., 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.
