Obituary

Damon Siyun Stone, loving son, husband, god father and professional auto detailer, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 10th, 2023. He was 50 years old. Damon was born on January 20, 1973, in Vineland, NJ, to Cheryl Stone. He graduated from Camden County Vocational School for Cabinetry. He grew up in New Jersey, and then moved to Bear, Delaware, where he met the love of his life, Olga S. Gonzalez.

Damon and Olga met online and were together for 8 years. They got married on March 7, 2022. Together they had 3 fur babies, Max, Nena, and Chino, whom he loved deeply. He was a devoted son and an exceptional husband who always made time for his
family.

Damon’s passion was auto detailing. He turned his passionate hobby into his career, serving the Milford customers and its surrounding areas since 2017j, where he made a lasting impact on his customers and colleagues alike. Damon had a natural ability to connect with people and always put his customers' needs first. He loved sharing the detailing process and was known for going above and beyond to make sure, he provided excellent services.

When Damon wasn't working, he enjoyed playing pool with his friends, playing or watching City Skylines, and spending time with his family. He had a warm and welcoming personality and was loved by all who knew him. Damon’s smile lit up a room, and he had a way of making everyone feel at ease.

Damon was diagnosed with having a cavernous malformation in his spine which paralyzed him from his chest down a few months ago, he faced the situation with bravery and strength. Throughout his treatment, he remained positive and focused on the things that brought him joy - his family, his work, and his hobbies. His courage was an inspiration to all who knew and came in contact with him, and he will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by Grandmother Ruth Elizabeth Stone. He leaves behind his mother Cheryl Y. Stone, his wife Olga S Gonzalez-Stone, his god son Dymir Shamar Stone, Aunt Vanessa E. Stone, Aunt Ava L. Stone, Aunt Rene' L. Stone and her husband Alex Brooks, Uncle Lonely T. Stone, Father-in-law Ismael Gonzalez, brother-in-law Ricardo Gonzalez and his wife Stacy, Sister-in-law Aida Robles and her husband Antonio and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am. Damon will be buried at Milford Community Cemetery, and a reception will be held at the Gonzalez residence.

Damon will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and generous person who made a difference in the lives of so many. His legacy of love and service will live on through his family, friends, and the countless clients whose lives he touched during his career as a auto detailer.
