Clifford Steven Lindale, 87, of MIlford, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Country Rest Home, Greenwood. Clifford was born in Milford, DE the son of the late Harry and Clara (Moore) Lindale. He worked as a salesman for Young and Revel, Milford, Callas Thompson and then Tri-Gas and Oil in Harrington for many years before retiring. He was a veteran of the Delaware National Guard assigned in Milford. He enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing as well as traveling all over the country.
He was a member of both the Milford Elks Lodge #2401 and the American Legion in Cambridge, MD. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Kelly Lindale, 4 brothers William Lindale, Harry Lindale, Jim Lindale, Donald Lindale and a brother-in-law Wayne Wooten.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Lorraine Lindale; a step daughter Melanie Rinkenberg (Steve) and a stepson Gregory Tinsman (Donna); 2 sisters Loretta Wooten and Jeanette Smoots and a brother Gene Lindale; 7 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 1 - 2 pm on Sunday, September 12, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where funeral services will be held at 2 pm.
