Charles Stewart Imwold, 81, of Milford, DE formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Bayhealth Sussex Milford Campus. Charles was born in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Charles G. and Patricia Marie (Lawrence) Imwold. Charles served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Distiller and in Quality Control for Seagram's Company for many years in Baltimore. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, working around the house, particularly outside. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Stewart, Paul and Philip and a sister Anne-Marie.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Janice (Freeberger) Imwold; his daughter Charlie; his siblings Alice, Patricia, Larry, Muriel, Kathy, Mary Regina, Judy, Tim, and Christopher as well as many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 2 - 4 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. Graveside services with Navy Honors will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 Padonia Road East, Timonium, MD. In lieu of flowers the family's requests that contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
