Carolyn Davis Evans

Carolyn Davis Evans passed away on July 4, 2021 at Bayhealth Kent Campus after several years of declining health. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware to William and Hazel Davis on August 7, 1939 and moved to Houston as a child. She attended Milford schools where she met Reginald Evans, the love of her life. They were married for 61 years. She attended nurses’ training at Milford Memorial Hospital before working as an RN there. She took a hiatus to raise her children, Linda and David, returning to work in the newborn nursery after they were grown. Carolyn loved to travel and relished trips with her family. 

Carolyn is survived by her husband Reginald, her children Linda Samulevich (John) and David Evans (Heather), her sister Shirley Davis, and her grandchildren David and Michael Samulevich. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Houston Volunteer Fire Company or to a charity of your choice.
