Bonnie Tebbens Twilley

Bonnie Tebbens Twilley, Age 59 of Lincoln, DE passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2022. Bonnie was born on April 10, 1963, to Kay Greene and the late Bernhard Tebbens. She graduated from Milford High School in 1981. Bonnie held various jobs and volunteer roles including at Milford Memorial Hospital, JC Penney’s, Drug Fair and Hardee’s. However, it was her loving and caring nature that led her to open her own daycare where was “Mrs. Bonnie” to so many children over the course of 19 years. She was an avid reader of romance novels and found joy in listening to music, wandering the backroads of Lancaster with her husband and staying close to new and old friends. She prioritized spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren. Mommom expertly planned memorable sleepovers with backyard pool time, bubbles, and trips to local playgrounds, and of course Funland. Bonnie always put others first and will forever be remembered as an amazing kind, caring and loving person. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Bernhard D. Tebbens in 2001 and her sister-in-law Glenda Tebbens.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Kevin Twilley; a son, Brian Twilley (Holly) of Havertown, PA; a daughter, Amanda Smith (Cory) of Lewes, DE; 4 grandchildren, Sienna and Eloise Twilley and Zoey and Zion Smith; her mother, Kay Greene (Jim) of Lincoln, DE, a brother, Ben Tebbens of Lincoln, DE and several nieces and nephews. All of whom she loved dearly.

Services will be held on September 24th at Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963. A time of remembrance will be from Noon to 1pm followed by a celebration of life at 1pm. Burial will be private.
