Ashley Reenee Pennell

Ashley Reenee Pennell, 32, of Greenwood died suddenly on Monday, May 17, 2021 as a result of injuries received from an automobile accident in Chincoteague, VA. Ashley was born in Milford, DE the daughter of Cindy and Dale Callaway. She was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School class of 2007 where she was a member of the FFA. She worked as a private duty home healthcare nurse for several years. She was a true animal lover, and especially enjoyed raising and training many types of animals, from horses, cows, ducks, dogs, and cats. She especially enjoyed participating in the FFA events at the Delaware State Fair every year. Ashley was also a people person, and enjoyed being able to care for and save people in need.  

She is survived by her two daughters Logan Reenee Clogg and Kensley Anne Pennell; her parents Cindy and Dale Callaway as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A walk through visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the First State Animal Shelter and S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE  19934.
