William Augustus Murphy

The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the stillbirth of William Augustus Murphy on July 17, 2018 at 9:22 am. William weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. William was born silent into this world, but his life spoke volumes. He was and is very much loved and has touched many lives. No matter how brief of a life he lived, he forever changes the world and he still matters.

William is the first born child and son of Zachary and Sarah Murphy. His paternal grandparents are Julie and Vincent LaPorta, and Dennis Murphy. His maternal grandparents are Melissa and Bobby Siegfried, and Stephen and Holly Pickerin. He also leaves behind a loving family full of great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held to honor William on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at 2:00pm at Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE. Reception will follow at Slaughter Beach at 359 Bay Ave, Milford, DE.

A life lost before that life can live is no less of a life and no less loved.
