Rosemary T. Coverdale

Rosemary T. Coverdale, 80, formerly of Milford, De passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She was born November 8, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Auletes and Jane Haight.

Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is retired from Safeway, Sears, and the United States Postal Service. She was a life member of the Carlisle Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She attended St. John’s Apostles Church in Milford, attended St. Colombkille in Fort Myers, FL and St. Andrew Catholic Church in Chincoteague, VA. She was very involved in the Iona Garden’s Civic Assoc. in Fort Myers, FL. Some of her hobbies included; cards, bocce ball, and board games.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Haight of Altamont Springs, FL.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles R. Coverdale; seven children, Charles A. Coverdale (Marcia), Kathleen A. Jester (Ronald), Timothy J. Coverdale (Deborah), Paul E. Coverdale (Michele), Thomas P. Coverdale (Toni), Jane E. Pisapia (Louis), Carrie M. Coverdale-Gynac; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, as well as several foster children. She was a blessing to her family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford, DE.
