Mary Jane Savin Sapp, 85, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2018 surrounded by her family. Jane was born in Rehoboth Beach on September 28, 1932, the daughter of the late John Frank and Josephine L. (Tracey) Savin. She was a graduate of Milford High School and then graduated from the Milford Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She began her career as a secretary beginning at Bay Central (now U.S. Cold Storage), then at Masten’s Lumber Company and then finally at Sea Watch, from where she retired in 1988. She was a member of the Rebekkas. She loved stock car racing and was the wife of the late race car driver Jack Sapp. Jane also loved roller skating. She was honored to have her roller skates enshrined and on display at the Milford Museum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years John (Jack) Foster Sapp in 2014 and her brother Frank John Savin.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce A. Paquette and her husband Chuck; her son Robert J. Sapp and his wife Carol L.; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
