Hilda Dill Donovan, 97, of Houston, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the home of her daughter. Hilda was born in Felton, DE the daughter of the late Manlove and Mary Dill. She was the manager for the restaurant at the Delaware State Fair Grounds for many years. Hilda then worked at L.D. Caulk as an inspector before retiring. She also worked at the Harrington Arby’s for several years up to the age of 93. Hilda was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge # 534 for 51 years, where she served as Senior Regent, and was also a member of the Harrington Senior Center. She loved to cook, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Jones, her second husband Harry Hanson, and her third husband Robert Donovan; a son George Thomas Jones, as well as 12 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son Jack Jones, two daughters Barbara Jones Robinson and her husband Pete, and Mary Ann Jones Moore and her husband Doug; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will be private in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Women of the Moose, c/o Harrington Moose Lodge # 534, P.O.
