Clarence W. "Foxy" Foxwell, 83, of Farmington, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Delaware Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born near Smyrna, DE the son of the late Dorothy and Wilson Pratt. Clarence was a potato farmer, working his farm during the growing months and would work as a detail man at the Quick Car Wash in Dover during the late fall and winter. He enjoyed cutting grass, watching professional wrestling and working his garden. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Gloria Jean Foxwell, his granddaughter Kimberly Myers and a brother Walton Foxwell.

He is survived by his son Clarence W. Foxwell, Jr. (Sally); his daughters Brenda Rust (Mace), Jodie Vincent, Barbara Meisch, and Catina Smyth (Greg); one brother William Foxwell (Betty); one sister Lucille Foxwell; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Clarence's Life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Farmington Fire Company Memorial Hall, 20920 S. Dupont Hwy, Farmington. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in Clarence's name to the Farmington Playground Project, c/o Town of Farmington, 98 School Street, Farmington, DE  19950.
