Cheryl Jean Emershaw, 60, of Felton, DE passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Cheryl was born in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Saliga) Emershaw. She was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Baltimore, MD, class of 1976. In her Junior and Senior years at Kenwood High School, Cheryl was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and took part in several scouting missions, searching for downed aircraft in and around the Baltimore area. Cheryl was an avid photographer and was honored with a photography award given to her by her peers. She loved boating and spent many of her summers on the water in Chestertown, MD. Cheryl was a member of the Kennersley Yacht Club in Churchill, MD and served as the Club’s photographer for many years. Cheryl loved gardening and horticulture and she enjoyed working at the greenhouse for many years. As her children were growing up, she also enjoyed being a kindergarten assistant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Ford and her beloved Chihuahua “Peanut”.
She is survived by her 3 sons Dez (Buddy) Andrieux, Jonathan Andrieux and Christopher Andrieux; her loving fiancee’ David Outten; 4 grandchildren Madison, Angel Samantha and Paul; two sisters Jacqueline Emershaw Sterbach and Judith Ann Gray; one brother John David Emershaw, Jr.; as well as additional loving relatives.
A Celebration of Cheryl’s Life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, Delaware.
