Carol S. Haney

Carol S. Haney, 75, of Ellendale, DE passed away suddenly on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Carol was born in Crown, West Virginia the daughter of Walter Jerman and the late Ruth (Pugh) Jerman. Carol worked in the motel industry for many years. She loved going to the Harrington Slots, and enjoyed cooking. But most important to Carol was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Joseph W. Haney, Sr. in 2015 and a son Joseph W. Haney, Jr. in 2006.

She is survived by her children Sue A. Hollenbeck and her husband Ed, Herbert McIntire, Timothy McIntire, Tina Craft, Mary Haney, Allen McIntire and Walter McIntire; her father Walter Jerman; her brother Jerry Jerman; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.

Friends may call from 12 – 1 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a time of sharing will be held at 1 pm.
