Betty C. Cain, 90, of Harrington, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Seaford Genesis Eldercare surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Georgetown, DE the daughter of the late Harry and Eva (King) Littleton. She was a graduate of Beacom Business College in Wilmington in January 1946. She began her career as a secretary working at Cahall and Shaw Furniture and Bottled Gas, where she worked for 18 years; then went to work for Dr. Robert Weaver and Dr. Hunter Addis in Harrington for several years then joined James Thompson in Greenwood as a Medical Associate before retiring in 1986. After retirement, Betty became an antique dealer with her husband Jim, and traveled the United States buying, selling and shipping antiques. She enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James H. Cain in 2004 and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Cain in July 2017.

She is survived by her son Gene Cain,of Seaford as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 12 - 1 pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford, - Harrington Highway, Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE  19963.
