Adam Burton Smallwood

Adam Burton Smallwood, 32, of Milford, DE passed away suddenly on June 10, 2018 at home. Adam was born in Hyattsville, MD the son of Sarah Elizabeth (Lum) Jackson and the late William Henry Smallwood. Adam worked as a sanitizer for Aire-Master in Bridgeville. He was an avid video gamer. Most important to Adam was his children, for he was a devoted and loving father. He was preceded in death by his father William Henry Smallwood.

He is survived by his daughter Emily Ann Smallwood; his son Thomas Abel Smallwood; his mother and step-father Sarah E. and Richard Jackson; his sister Rebecca Gillespie and her husband Adam; his step-sister Jennifer Jackson and his step-brother Michael Jackson; his paternal grandparents Ken and Loretta Jackson; 2 nieces, 1 nephew as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A viewing will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Berean Community Church, 2709 Milford – Harrington Highway, Milford where funeral services will be held at 7 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Berean Community Church Youth Fund, 2709 Milford – Harrington Highway, Milford, DE  19963.
