William Fannin, 77, of Milford, DE died suddenly on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at home. Bill was born November 9, 1939 in Majestic, KY the son of the late Elsworth and Vina (Stiltner) Fannin, Sr. He worked as an equipment operator for many years, working for General Foods, Nanticoke Homes, Fannin's Construction, Wyoming Concrete and finally Gillespie Concrete, from where he retired. Bill was a member of the N.R.A., the Harrington Moose Lodge, the Harley Owners Group, and the Houston Fire Company. He loved hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was known as a "Mr. Fixit" and could fix any challenge that he met. Bill also loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Joey Fannin, James Cassell, Elsworth "Junior"  Fannin, Jr. and a half sister Sandy Kenton.

He is survived by his life partner and wife Beverly (Van Gorder) Fannin; his daughter Leisa Sharrock and her husband Randy; his son Shayne Fannin and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Miles Kosiorowski, Marc Kosiorowski and his wife Courtney, Baylie Fannin, Brayden Fannin and Dylan Fannin; brothers Elmer Fannin and his wife MaryAnn, Donnie Fannin and his wife Elaine; sisters Lois Fannin and Barbara Ball; one half sister Pearl Walker.

A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. The family requests that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to to the charity of your choice. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
