Vance Morris

Vance Morris, 70, of Frederica, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Delaware Veterans Home, Milford. Vance was born in Dover, DE the son of the late Vance and Edith (Holden) Morris. Vance was a graduate of Dover High School, class of 1965 and a graduate of University of Delaware, class of 1974. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air. Force, where he served a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He was a farmer for many years, spending his last years working for J. G. Townsend in Georgetown before becoming ill. Throughout his life, Vance was actively involved in county and state affairs.

Vance is survived by his 2 brothers WIlliam G. Morris and his wife Geraldine and John H. Morris and his wife Robyn as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Vance's life will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions In Memory of Vance, to be made to the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd, Milford, DE  19963.
